Michelle McCann is currently serving as Legal Council at Health Association Nova Scotia since February 2021. Prior to this role, Michelle held the position of Director, Risk and Legal Services at QEII Foundation from January 2018 to February 2021. With a background as an Associate Lawyer at Stewart McKelvey from May 2007 to October 2016, their expertise lies in labour law, employment law, occupational health and safety, and immigration of skilled workers. Michelle's educational background includes a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from Dalhousie University and a Master of Arts in Political Science from the University of Calgary. Michelle has also been involved in various volunteer and leadership roles, showcasing their dedication to community engagement.
