Kim Godard has extensive work experience in various roles related to regulatory affairs and public health. Kim has been working at Health Canada | Santé Canada since 2016, starting as an Acting Director and then progressing to Associate Director. In 2018, they became the Director of the Workplace Hazardous Materials program before transitioning to the role of Director, Health Product (Drug) Inspection and Licensing in 2020. Currently, they hold the position of Director General, Health Product Compliance Directorate at Health Canada. Prior to that, they worked at Health Canada from 2008 to 2015, primarily in regulatory affairs and managerial roles. Kim has also pursued graduate studies at UBC from 2001 to 2008. Throughout their career, Kim Godard has been dedicated to ensuring Canadians have access to high-quality medicines and promoting worker safety.
Kim Godard received a Ph.D. in Molecular Biology from The University of British Columbia, where they studied from 2001 to 2008.
