Health Care for the Homeless
Laura Garcia has a diverse work experience in the healthcare field. Laura began their career as a Health Educator in the Peace Corps from 2006 to 2008. Laura then worked as a Registered Nurse at Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center from 2010 to 2014. In 2014, Laura joined Health Care for the Homeless, where they held various roles including Family Nurse Practitioner, Director of Adult Medicine, and Chief Medical Officer. Laura also served as the Senior Medical Director - Fallsway from 2021 to 2023.
Laura Garcia attended Johns Hopkins School of Nursing from 2009 to 2014, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) and a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) with a focus on Family Practice Nurse/Nursing.
