The Health Care Service Operator (OSHKSH), was established as a state institution, and operates under the Ministry of Health and Social Protection. HCSO (OSHKSH) operates throughout the territory with 4 Regional Health Care Service Directorates and 36 Health Care Units in all districts of Albania. The Health Care Service Operator (OSHKSH) manages and administers the recruitment processes of doctors, nurses, psychologists, etc. throughout the health system of Albania and also monitors the performance of regional hospitals, municipal hospitals and health centers.
