Dave Mortenson

Dave Mortenson is an experienced Senior Database Administrator and Cloud Engineer with a strong focus on SQL Server, Snowflake, and Databricks technologies. Since December 2016, Mortenson has served as the technical lead at Health Catalyst, facilitating communication between senior leadership and cloud engineering teams. Prior to this role, Mortenson led a team of engineers at ModusLink, where a significant migration of the company's ERP system from Oracle to SQL Server was successfully architected and implemented. Earlier experience includes database and system administration roles at Dentrix Dental Systems Inc. and Modusmedia, where database installations, maintenance, and data security policies were established. Mortenson possesses educational credentials from Brigham Young University.
