Kevin Scharnhorst

Kevin Scharnhorst, CISSP, CISM, CRISC, CCSP, CCSK, TOGAF, has held key leadership roles in cybersecurity and cloud operations, currently serving as the Chief Information Security Officer at Health Catalyst since 2014, where an extensive cybersecurity program was developed in preparation for a $182M IPO. Previous roles at Health Catalyst include VP of Cloud Operations, where Infrastructure-as-Code was implemented, resulting in significant client growth and reduced capital expenditures. Kevin Scharnhorst also has experience in academia as an adjunct professor at Northwestern University and Treasure Valley Community College, and demonstrated technical leadership at Blue Cross of Idaho and Micron Technology, managing multiple engineering teams and pioneering significant technological advancements. Kevin Scharnhorst holds a Master of Science in Medical Informatics and a BBA in Computer Information Systems, with additional studies in Political Science.
