J. Gabriel Gates is the Executive Director of Franke Center for the Arts and an author at HCI Books. Previously worked as a writing instructor at Kellogg Community College and Olivet College, as well as Youth Ministry Director at The Peoples Church of East Lansing. Also had experience as a freelance screenwriter and commercial actor for various national TV commercials. Holds a Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing from Spalding University and a BA in Theater from Florida State University.
