Courtney Smith began their work experience in 2013 as an RTS Therapist at Aletheia House. Courtney then joined Bradford Health Services in 2010 as a Counselor intern before becoming a Counselor II from 2013 to 2014. In 2014, they joined Valley Insight Counseling, LLC as the Owner/Therapist until 2020. Since 2019, Courtney has been working at Health Connect America, starting as a Clinical Supervisor until 2021, then becoming a Program Director from 2022 to 2023, and currently holding the position of Regional Director of Operations from 2024 onwards.
Courtney Smith holds a Master of Arts degree in Community Counseling from the University of North Alabama, which they obtained from 2011 to 2013. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Development and Family Studies from The University of Alabama, attending from 2008 to 2010. In addition to their degrees, Courtney Smith has certifications as a Licensed Professional Counselor [Supervisor] from the Alabama Board Of Examiners, and as a National Certified Counselor (NCC) from The National Board for Certified Counselors.
