Darron Smith

Darron Smith, Ph.D., PA-C, DFAAPA, currently serves as a Teaching Associate Professor and Co-Director at the Center for Novel Therapeutics in Addiction Psychiatry at the University of Washington, a position held since July 2023. Simultaneously, Darron Smith works as a Psychiatric Physician Associate at LAGS Recovery Centers Inc. and as an Instructor in the Department of Sociology at The University of Memphis, where contributions date back to September 2017. Previous roles include Associate Professor at Washington University School of Medicine and various faculty positions at The University of Memphis and A.T. Still University, including Founding Chair of a PA educational training program. Darron Smith has extensive experience in primary care, child and adolescent psychiatry, and military medicine, supported by a solid educational foundation from the University of Utah and Brigham Young University.
