Stephen Jackson

Stephen Jackson is a dedicated clinical case manager at Health Connect America, with extensive experience in child welfare and family support. Since October 2019, Stephen has provided psychoeducation, crisis intervention, and medication management for foster parents of therapeutic foster children, in addition to delivering intensive in-home services to families through DHR. Prior experience includes serving as a family protection specialist with the Mississippi Department of Child Protection Services from November 2012 to March 2019, where Stephen assessed safety and maintained family connections for children in state custody. An internship at Shelby County Schools involved documenting sessions with children and facilitating access to services for those with emotional or behavioral issues. Earlier experience as a teacher assistant at the University of Montevallo included monitoring children's behavior and providing support. Stephen holds a Bachelor of Science in Social Work from the University of Montevallo.
