Matthew Bistany

Matthew Bistany has a diverse work experience in the field of technology. Matthew currently works as a Cloud Engineer at Health Data Analytics Institute since 2022. Prior to this, they were an Infrastructure Engineer at Bain Capital from 2020 to 2022.

Before joining Bain Capital, Matthew worked at Academy Computer Services for a significant period starting from 2013. During their time at Academy Computer Services, they held the position of Network Security Administrator. In this role, they were responsible for designing and implementing secure network systems that provided legal access to inmates in correctional facilities across the country. Matthew also successfully built an AWS cloud-based system that was later launched nationally, resulting in reduced migration time and decreased costs for the company and its customers.

Matthew's experience at Academy Computer Services showcases their ability to architect and install complex network systems, as well as their business acumen in improving cost-efficiency and reliability.

Matthew Bistany has a strong educational background in computer science. From 2017 to 2019, they attended North Shore Community College, where they obtained an Associate of Science degree in Computer Science. Additionally, Matthew has obtained certifications from Amazon Web Services (AWS). In June 2019, they received the Amazon Web Services Cloud Practitioner certification, followed by the Amazon Web Services Solutions Architect Associate certification in October 2019.
