Raul Sahagun

Raul Sahagun, M.B.A. has a diverse work experience in the insurance industry. Raul began their career in 2001 at L.A. Care Health Plan as a Sales & Outreach Manager, where they worked until 2005. From 2006 to 2008, they served as Consumer Sales Manager at Blue Cross Blue Shield of Florida. Raul then moved to AvMed Health Plans, where they worked as Sr. Manager Individual Sales from 2008 to 2014. In 2014, Raul became the Managing Partner at The Insurance Doctor Inc. until 2015. Raul then joined Health Family Insurance as Vice President in 2015 and is currently serving as the CEO of Direct Insurance Solutions since 2018.

Raul Sahagun, M.B.A., completed their education at the University of Miami Herbert Business School, where they earned a Masters in Business Administration with a specialization in Executive Health Care in 2012. Additionally, during the same period, they obtained a certification as a Certified Six Sigma Champion from the University of Miami Herbert Business School. Before their postgraduate studies, Raul earned their Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a focus on Marketing from California State University, Northridge, where they studied from 1993 to 1998.
