Chiru (Winston) Ling

Winston Ling, also known as Chiru, has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Chiru (Winston) started their career as a Senior Technical Consultant at Intel Labs in 2004, where they were responsible for optimizing enterprise applications for Intel platforms. Ling then joined Hewlett-Packard Corporation in 2004 and held roles such as Business Development Manager and Business Development Team Leader, where they achieved significant revenue growth and created innovative product offerings. In 2008, they moved to SUN MICROSYSTEM CORPORATION as a Senior Account Manager.

From 2010 to 2015, Ling worked at Hunan Xiangtou Goldsky Technology Group Co., Ltd as the Manager of Marketing Center and later as the Deputy Manager of the Shanghai Office. Chiru (Winston) then became an Independent Consultant at Hunan Mind and Mind Brand Consulting Co., Ltd from 2014 to 2015.

In 2015, Ling was self-employed as a Consultant before joining Vanderbilt University Medical Center as an Intern from 2015 to 2016. Chiru (Winston) then interned as an MBA Summer Intern at Eli Lilly and Company in 2016, where they presented a successful plan to the Lilly China leadership team.

Ling's most recent experience includes working as a Senior Venture Associate at HealthVenture from 2017 to 2022, where they played a key role in venture associate projects. Chiru (Winston) also worked at Health Here in 2017, specializing in Revenue Cycle and Analytics.

Chiru (Winston) Ling has a diverse education history. Chiru (Winston) obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from the National University of Defense Technology from 1996 to 2000. Chiru (Winston) then pursued a Master's Degree in Econometrics and Quantitative Economics from Shanghai University of Finance and Economics, completing it from 2010 to 2012. Lastly, they earned a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) with a focus on Healthcare & Consulting from Vanderbilt University - Owen Graduate School of Management, finishing their studies from 2015 to 2017.

In addition to their formal education, Chiru Ling has also obtained several certifications. In 2002, they became a Sun Microsystem Certified Java Programmer (SCJP) from Sun Microsystems. Chiru (Winston) also received the Microsoft Certified Solution Developer (MCSD) certification from Microsoft during the same year. In 2015, they obtained the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute. Lastly, in 2017, they completed the Bloomberg Market Concepts certification from Bloomberg LP.
