Nzinga Harrison

Nzinga Harrison is an advisor at Health In Her HUE and a former Chief Medical Officer at Anka Behavioral Health, Inc. Nzinga has also worked as a consultant for the Carter Center Liberia Mental Health Project, where they developed adult and child substance abuse curricula and taught nurses and physician assistants about identification and management of substance use disorders.

Nzinga Harrison completed their undergraduate studies at Howard University, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology. Nzinga then attended the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine, where they earned their Doctor of Medicine. After completing their residency in General Psychiatry at Emory University School of Medicine, they became a board-certified psychiatrist.
