Hannah Galvin, MD, FAAP, FAMIA, CHCIO, currently serves as the Assistant Secretary for Technology Policy and an appointed member of the Health Information Technology Advisory Committee. With extensive experience in the healthcare sector, Hannah holds the position of Chief Medical Information Officer at Cambridge Health Alliance, where innovative health solutions are implemented for a diverse patient population. As a co-founder and board chair of the Shift Health Care Task Force, Hannah advocates for equitable interoperability and patient-empowered sharing of health information. Previous roles include Medical Director of Informatics at Lahey Health, a physician at Bridge Over Troubled Waters, and senior manager of clinical effectiveness at athenahealth, Inc. Hannah has a medical degree from Harvard Medical School and graduated summa cum laude from Wellesley College with an AB in Biological Sciences.
