Artrese Morrison

Interim Executive Director Western Region at Health Leads

Artrese Morrison serves as the Senior Director of Programs for the Western Region at Health Leads since August 2020, focusing on health equity initiatives that address social determinants of health and combat structural inequities. Previously, Artrese was the Director of Programs at Alameda County Community Food Bank from May 2016 to April 2020, where strategic vision and data-driven decision-making played key roles in addressing food insecurity. Prior experience includes serving as Executive Vice President at Project Open Hand from 1999 to 2015, enhancing volunteer engagement and leading multiple departments with substantial budgets. Artrese has also held positions as a Black Belt Instructor at Hapkido USA and The Hapkido Institute, and contributed as Chair of the Board for the Association of Nutrition Services Agencies. Early career roles include Senior Case Manager at the Family Service Agency of San Francisco and a Vista Volunteer with AmeriCorps. Artrese holds a BA in Philosophy from Dickinson College, earned between 1988 and 1992.
