Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Communications from Brigham Young University, where they studied from 1985 to 1993. In addition to their formal education, Nolan Sundrud has also obtained additional certifications. In September 2018, they completed the Change Management Certificate Program offered by Prosci. Nolan also holds the designation of Accredited Business Communicator, which they obtained from the International Association of Business Communicators in August 2013.
