Darrel Ng

Darrel Ng's work experience includes various roles in communications and marketing. Darrel served as the Vice President of Communications and Marketing at Health Net from 2020 to the present. In 2021, they joined the State of California as the Senior Communications Advisor for the COVID-19 Vaccine Task Force, leading the state's vaccine communications efforts. Prior to that, they were a Founding Partner at Fast Twitch Communications from 2019 to 2020. Darrel also held the position of Managing Director, Digital Health at W2O Group from 2017 to 2019, where they assisted clients in navigating the healthcare industry. Before that, they worked at Anthem, Inc. as the Staff Vice President of Regional & State Public Affairs from 2011 to 2017. Other notable roles include Director of Rapid Response for Vice Presidential Candidate with Romney for President in 2012, Communications Director for the Assembly Republican Caucus at the California State Assembly in 2011, and Press Secretary at the California Department of Insurance from 2008 to 2010. Darrel's early experience includes being a Spokesperson for Meg Whitman's gubernatorial campaign in 2010 and serving as the Chief Deputy Press Secretary at the Office of Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger from 2003 to 2007.
