Charay Bland has a diverse work experience in the behavioral health field. Charay started their career at Behavioral Health Network, Inc (BHN) in 2017, where they worked as an Outpatient Clinician, providing therapeutic services to adolescents and adults. Charay was also TFCBT trained and offered school-based and outpatient services in a community mental health agency.
In 2019, Charay took on the role of Crisis Clinician at BHN, where they continued to provide therapeutic services. Additionally, in 2020, they became a Clinical Supervisor at BHN, overseeing the clinical work of their team.
In 2021, Charay joined Community Resources For Justice (CRJ) as a Clinician, where they worked until 2022.
Currently, they are employed at Health New England as a Behavioral Health Care Manager, starting in April 2022.
Charay Bland received their Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Psychology from Winston-Salem State University. Charay attended the university from 2009 to 2013. In 2015, they pursued a Master of Education (M.Ed.) degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Springfield College. Their education at Springfield College lasted from 2015 to 2017.
