Timothy Chrystal

Timothy Chrystal has extensive work experience in the insurance industry. Timothy started their career at The Phoenix Companies, Inc. as a Group Underwriter/Case Analyst in 1994. Timothy then joined Unicare in 1996 as a Financial Risk Analyst. In 1998, they moved to Tufts Health Plan and held various roles including Group Underwriter II, Senior Group Underwriter, Underwriting Consultant, Manager of Underwriting, and Senior Manager of Large Group Underwriting. In 2016, they joined Health New England as an Underwriting Manager, and later served as the Director of Underwriting and Pricing. Currently, they hold the position of Director of New and Existing Business Sales at Health New England.

Timothy Chrystal's education history includes a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Economics and Finance from the University of Connecticut, which they obtained between 1987 and 1992. In 1996, they also earned a Health Insurance Associate degree from AHIP- HIAA. This was followed by a Managed Care Professional degree from AHIP HIAA in 1998. In 2002, they pursued a Masters Management Certification from Northeastern University, specializing in Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services, which they completed in 2004. Additionally, in 2005, Timothy attended the American Management Association's "Mini-MBA" Executive Education program. Finally, in 2008, they completed a Professional Healthcare Management degree at AHIP.
