Danny Wells

Danny Wells is an experienced data engineer specializing in Snowflake technologies, currently serving as the Lead Snowflake Data Engineer at Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora since October 2025. Previously, Danny held roles as a Senior Snowflake Data Engineer at The Warehouse Group and Lead Snowflake Data Engineer at Livestock Improvement Corporation (LIC), where responsibilities included leading a greenfields project in snowflake adoption. With prior experience as a Senior Snowflake Engineer at EROAD and various senior data engineering positions across multiple companies, including Decisive and FIRN Analytics Ltd, Danny has developed extensive expertise in AWS platforms, data pipeline maintenance, and data migration. Danny holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of Auckland.
