Joanie Sims

Joanie Sims is a National Organisational Development Director at Te Whatu Ora Health New Zealand since July 2022, recognized as a skilled and engaged executive leader, development and capability expert, and culture collaborator. With a diverse background, Joanie has held various leadership roles, including Interim Organisational Development & Capability Lead at Taranaki District Health Board and General Manager People & Capability. Previous consultancy experience includes directing Sims Simmers Consultancy from September 2013 to March 2021, along with HR roles at Transfield Worley Limited, Staples Rodway, and Tenix Alliance. Joanie's educational background includes a Bachelor of Commerce and Administration in Human Resources and Management from Victoria University of Wellington.
