Michael Moseneke currently serves as a Resident Medical Officer at Te Whatu Ora Health New Zealand since July 2023. Prior experience includes three years as a Doctor with the NHS from July 2020 to April 2023 and a role as a UCAS/Academic Tutor at Leading Education from February 2018 to February 2020, where responsibilities involved providing tuition in A level Chemistry and Biology and advising students on UK University Medicine Courses. Michael also worked as a UCAS/Academic Advisor at Cardiff Sixth Form College in August 2017 and gained research experience as a Medical Lab Assistant at Queen's University Belfast in the summer of 2017. Michael holds an MB BCh BAO degree in Medicine from Queen's University Belfast (2014-2020) and a Bachelor of Science in Medical Sciences in Surgery & Anaesthesia from Imperial College London. Additionally, Michael completed AS/A2 Levels at Cardiff Sixth Form College (2012-2014).

Health New Zealand - Te Whatu Ora leads the day-to-day running of the health system. Functions are delivered at local, district, regional and national levels. These include: - hospital and specialist services - the National Public Health Service - clinical governance - primary and community care. We also work to improve services and health outcomes. We do this in partnership with Te Aka Whai Ora - Māori Health Authority. We have united the former 20 District Health Boards, shared services agencies and Te Hiringa Hauora (Health Promotion Agency).
