Ricky Gamboa

Ricky Gamboa is an experienced professional in Release and Deployment Management with a focus on Agile methodologies. Currently serving as a Deployment Coordinator at Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora since March 2024, Ricky previously held the role of Release Manager at the Department of Internal Affairs (NZ), where responsibilities included improving the Release Management Process and coordinating release schedules. Ricky’s extensive background includes multiple roles at Spark New Zealand, contributing to both Agile Product Owner and Integrated Release & Deployment Manager positions, and earlier positions at TVNZ, Konnect Net Limited, Auckland Council, healthAlliance, Fujitsu New Zealand Limited, Hewlett-Packard, and Trend Micro. Ricky holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering from De La Salle University, attained from 1999 to 2003.
