Michael Watson

Michael Watson is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in the healthcare and insurance sectors. Currently serving as Executive Vice President of Claims and Specialty Networks at Health Payer Consortium since April 2018, Michael previously held the role of Senior Vice President of Claim Strategy and Specialty Networks. Prior experience includes a significant tenure at Tokio Marine HCC - Stop Loss Group, where Michael progressed from Senior Specialty Claims Nurse to Clinical Nurse Supervisor, ultimately becoming Clinical Nurse Manager of the Specialty Claims Unit. Michael holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing with a focus in Psychology from the University of Alabama at Birmingham and a background in General Studies from Auburn University, along with a high school diploma from Virgil L Grissom.
