Joanne Valdez

JoAnne Valdez has extensive experience in care management and healthcare coordination, currently working at Health Plan of San Mateo since August 2014 in various roles, including Care Transitions/Care Management and Care Management Specialist II. JoAnne coordinates person-centered interventions in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams and facilitates shared decision-making to ensure high-quality care for health plan members. Further experience includes serving as C.E.O. of Style Me Boho, a fashion retail business, and as a freelance visual art photographer with JVB|Photography. JoAnne also founded a beauty line, Earth's Kiss by JVB, and worked as a remote care coordinator at Forward, in addition to positions at MILLS PENINSULA HEALTH SERVICES, Bella Baby Photography, and as a writer/publisher for Fit and Fab Mama, demonstrating a strong blend of healthcare and creative entrepreneurial skills.
