Rich started their career as a Physical Therapist at Bayonne VNA in 2004 and then moved on to work at Beth Israel Medical Center as a Staff Physical Therapist from 2003 to 2006. In 2006, they joined Meridian Health as a Physical Therapist and worked there until 2018.

Building upon their foundation in healthcare, Curry went on to earn their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Business Administration from Colorado State University, where they studied from 2008 to 2012.
