Omar al-Massadi

Omar Al-Massadi is a Miguel Servet Researcher at the Health Research Institute of Santiago de Compostela (IDIS) since January 2021. Previously, Omar served as a Postdoctoral Fellow at Sorbonne Université from April 2017 to January 2020 and held the same title at Universidade de Santiago de Compostela from February 2012 to March 2017. Omar's earlier experience includes a Post-Doc position at the University of Cincinnati from March 2011 to January 2012 and another Postdoctoral Fellow role at Universidade de Santiago de Compostela from April 2010 to February 2011. Omar earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree from Universidad de Santiago de Compostela, completing studies in the School of Medicine from 2003 to 2010, and holds a degree in Biology, with a focus on Molecular Biology and Biotechnology, obtained from the same university from 1994 to 2000.
