Jennifer Lee

Vice President, Grantmaking at Health Resources in Action

Jennifer Lee has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of public health and philanthropy. Jennifer'smost recent position was as the Vice President of Grantmaking at Health Resources in Action, a role they started in September 2021. Prior to this, they served as the Managing Director of Community Health Grantmaking at the same organization from August 2019 to September 2021.

Before joining Health Resources in Action, Jennifer held the position of Senior Program Officer at the Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts Foundation from September 2008 to July 2019. In this role, they managed grantmaking portfolios in areas such as connecting consumers with care and closing the gap on healthcare disparities.

Jennifer has also participated in leadership development programs, such as the Massachusetts Institute of Community Health Leadership, where they were selected as a participant from October 2006 to September 2007. Additionally, Jennifer served as a Student Trustee at The BACCHUS Network™ from November 2003 to November 2004.

Jennifer Lee completed their education in a chronological order. Jennifer first attended Boston College from 2000 to 2004 and obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. Following that, they pursued a Graduate Certificate in Nonprofit Management from Northeastern University, which they completed in 2005. Jennifer then attended Tufts University School of Medicine from 2005 to 2009, where they earned a Masters of Public Health degree with a specialization in Health Services Management & Policy.

In addition to their academic qualifications, Jennifer Lee also obtained two additional certifications. In November 2002, they became a certified peer educator through The BACCHUS Network. Furthermore, in September 2004, they participated in the Commonwealth Legislative Seminar, although the institution where they obtained this certification is not specified.
