Lina Jew

Lina Jew has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Lina began their career as a Research Assistant at The University of British Columbia, focusing on diabetes research. Lina then joined Health Canada as a Policy Analyst and Assistant Project Officer in the Risk Management Division. Lina later worked as a Research Assistant at BC Children's Hospital, gaining experience in healthcare research. Lina also served as a Membership Office Assistant at Science World at TELUS World of Science, where they worked for nearly six years. Lina has also been involved in public health and advocacy, working as a Prevention & Education Volunteer and Workshop Facilitator at AIDS Vancouver, as well as a Summer Outreach Intern at Ovarian Cancer Canada. Lina also interned at the Public Health Institute of Republika Srpska, focusing on tobacco control communications. Lina's experience in program coordination and management includes roles as a Program Associate at Brookline MA Public Health Department and a Program Coordinator at Health Resources in Action.
