Lina Jew has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Lina began their career as a Research Assistant at The University of British Columbia, focusing on diabetes research. Lina then joined Health Canada as a Policy Analyst and Assistant Project Officer in the Risk Management Division. Lina later worked as a Research Assistant at BC Children's Hospital, gaining experience in healthcare research. Lina also served as a Membership Office Assistant at Science World at TELUS World of Science, where they worked for nearly six years. Lina has also been involved in public health and advocacy, working as a Prevention & Education Volunteer and Workshop Facilitator at AIDS Vancouver, as well as a Summer Outreach Intern at Ovarian Cancer Canada. Lina also interned at the Public Health Institute of Republika Srpska, focusing on tobacco control communications.
