Nicole Luciano, PhD has a diverse work experience in the field of medical and scientific services. Nicole is currently serving as the SVP, Medical and Scientific Services at Health Science Communications since July 2020. Before this, they worked as the VP, Medical & Scientific Services from July 2018 to July 2020, Senior Medical Director from July 2016 to July 2018, Medical Director from July 2015 to July 2016, Associate Medical Director from July 2014 to July 2015, Assistant Medical Director from July 2013 to July 2014, and Medical Associate from September 2012 to July 2013 at the same company.

Prior to their roles at Health Science Communications, they worked as a Postdoctoral Research Associate at NYU Center for Neural Science from April 2011 to September 2012. Here, they conducted research on the neurobiological basis of anorexia nervosa using a mouse model, specifically investigating the expression of GABA receptor subunits in the hippocampus.

Nicole also gained experience as a Laboratory Assistant at New York University from September 2008 to December 2009, where they assisted undergraduate students in laboratory experiments and provided tutorials on tissue processing for electron microscopy.

Earlier in their career, they served as a Research Technician at Pennsylvania State University College of Medicine from May 2004 to May 2006, performing toxicology screens in zebrafish larvae and fulfilling administrative duties for the lab. Nicole also worked as a Writing Center Tutor at Moravian College from May 2001 to May 2004.

Nicole Luciano, PhD received their Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Moravian University, where they studied from 2000 to 2004. After completing their undergraduate studies, they pursued a PhD in Neuroscience at NYU School of Medicine from 2006 to 2011.
