Cynthia Blount

Cynthia Blount, MS-IT, currently serves as the IS Director at Health Services, Incorporated, overseeing the information systems department's daily operations since January 2019. Prior to this role, Cynthia was the Information Technology Director at Whatley Health Services, Inc. from May 2001 to January 2019, where strategic and tactical planning for information technology systems was emphasized. Additional experience includes an independent distributor role at Body By Vi | Visalus, and serving as a National Expansion Leader for 5LINX Enterprises Inc. Cynthia's early career at DCH Health Systems involved roles as an I/S Analyst, Computer Operator, and Unit Secretary, contributing to the implementation and support of clinical and financial applications. Cynthia holds a Masters of Science in Information Assurance and Security from Capella University, along with multiple degrees from the University of Alabama and an Associate degree from Shelton State Community College, and is currently pursuing a Project Management Certification from the University of Alabama at Birmingham.
