Emma Gaunt has worked in various roles and industries throughout their career. Emma started their professional journey as a Shift Manager at McDonald's Corporation in 2008, where they managed a team of staff and ensured the smooth running of operations. In 2010, Emma gained international work experience as a Sous Chef/Kitchen Assistant at Laury Van Restaurant in France, where they assisted with food preparation and supported the front of house team.
In 2015, Emma worked as a Student Ambassador at Staffordshire University, promoting the institution and assisting with various tasks. Emma then joined Vodafone in 2016 as a Customer Relations Adviser, handling complex customer complaints and resolving disputes through phone calls, correspondence, and email.
Emma also worked at Lesniak Swann as an Account Executive in 2016, providing assistance to account managers by liaising with clients and studios, managing invoices, and preparing quotes. Emma then transitioned to a role as Sales Support Officer at Health Shield Friendly Society Ltd in 2018, before being promoted to Account Manager in 2020. In their current position, Emma manages client accounts and ensures their satisfaction.
Throughout their career, Emma has demonstrated strong communication and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
Emma Gaunt attended Chesterton Community Sports College from 2003 to 2008. Following that, they went to Stoke on Trent College for their degree in Hospitality and Catering, from 2008 to 2011. In June 2011, Emma obtained their McDonald's Apprenticeship NVQ Level 2 certification from McDonald's Corporation. Later, they pursued an Access to HE Diploma at Newcastle under Lyme College from 2012 to 2013. Finally, they attended Staffordshire University from 2013 to 2017, where they obtained a BA Hons in Events Management.
