With a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy and a Master of Philosophy in Political and Legal Thought from Queen's University, Laplante currently works as a Global Programs Associate at Health Standards Organization, coordinating various technical committees and accreditation evaluations. Prior to this, Laplante served as a Writing Specialist at Studiosity, providing academic writing guidance to students across different education levels. Additionally, Laplante gained leadership experience as a Shift Supervisor at Copper Branch, where they oversaw health and safety protocols and managed restaurant operations.
