Edward Chang

Edward Chang has four years of professional work experience. In 2018, they began working as a Civil Engineer at CECI Engineering Consultants, Inc. Taiwan, where they planned, designed, and supervised the construction of public works such as harbor structures and facilities. Edward also evaluated the seismic capability of existing ports and wrote proposals and budgets for the maintenance of all naval ports in Taiwan. In 2020, they moved to Ke Jian Construction & Engineering Consulting Ltd. as a Structural Engineer, where they designed highrise buildings and retaining systems for deep excavation. Edward also liaised with architects and contractors to ensure safe buildings and provided technical construction advice, as well as prepared buildings safety reports and passed 5 structural peer reviews in Taiwan Professional Civil Engineers Association. In 2021, they joined AppWorks School as an iOS Developer Trainee, where they completed a personal project independently and launched it in the App Store within 5 weeks. Edward also collaborated with Front-End and Back-End trainees for product development, and was responsible for all APIs communication on iOS devices and commodity comments areas with rating system. Edward is currently working as an iOS Developer at Health2Sync since 2022.

Edward Chang received their Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from National Central University between 2012 and 2015. Edward then went on to pursue a Master of Science in Structural Engineering at National Cheng Kung University from 2015 to 2017. In 2016, they obtained the Technician of Higher Examination for Civil from the Ministry of Examination R.O.C. (Taiwan).
