Nicole Osmer is an experienced healthcare communications professional. Nicole began their career in 1997 as a Studio Manager and Production Coordinator at Hans Neleman Studio in New York City. In 1998, they joined The Attik Design as a PR Manager and helped establish the San Francisco office. Nicole then moved to Waggener Edstrom in 1999 as an Assistant Account Executive, managing media relations for Internet accounts. In 2000, Nicole joined Responsys, Inc. as Corporate Communications Manager and remained there until 2002 when they moved to Guidant as a Sr Manager, Communications. In 2006, Nicole joined Abbott as a Sr Manager, External Communications and was part of the integration team focused on positioning the “new” Abbott Vascular as a leader in vascular care. The same year, they also became a Board Member at Menlo Atherton Cooperative Nursery School. In 2007, Nicole founded their own consultancy, Nicole Osmer Healthcare Communications, specializing in communications strategy and execution for innovative medtech companies. In 2011, Nicole became a Founding Member and Sponsor at MedtechWomen, a nonprofit organization dedicated to highlighting women leaders in the medtech industry. Finally, in 2017, Nicole founded Health+Commerce, a company that helps innovators in health technology, medical devices and biotech achieve their business objectives through strategic communications and digital marketing programs.

Nicole Osmer attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison from 1991 to 1996, where they obtained a BA in Art History. Nicole also attended Università degli Studi di Firenze in 1995 and Syracuse University in 1994, although no degree or field of study was specified. No additional certifications have been listed.
