Alex Morrison

Alex Morrison is a seasoned data professional with extensive experience in data analysis and business intelligence. Currently serving as a Senior Data Analyst at Healthaxis since January 2016, Alex previously held the position of Business Intelligence Manager at Cottonwood Financial from July 2012 to December 2015, where responsibilities included leading the development of a new data warehouse to integrate separate POS systems utilizing BIML architecture. Prior to that, Alex worked at HealthMarkets between February 2005 and July 2012, advancing from Manager of Analytics to Director of Analytics, focusing on internal management metric reporting and providing analytical support for Board and executive decision-making. Alex holds a Master of Science in Management Information Systems from Texas A&M University and a Bachelor of Science in Engineering Technology - Telecommunications from the same institution.
