Panos Sechopoulos MD has extensive work experience in the medical field. Panos currently holds the position of Chief Medical Officer at HealthBook+ since January 2022. Prior to that, they worked as the Director of the Endoscopy Unit at Athens Medical Group from September 2013. In 2012, they founded Endotherapia Precision Wellness-GreekEvexia. From August 2000 to September 2013, they served as the Assistant Director of the Department of Gastroenterology at HENRY DUNANT Hospital Center. Before that, they were an Assistant Professor at Vanderbilt University Medical Center from July 1999 to August 2000.
Panos Sechopoulos MD completed a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology at The University of Texas at Austin from 1984 to 1988. Panos then attended the University of Alabama at Birmingham from 1988 to 1992, where they earned their Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree. After that, they pursued their residency and served as Chief Resident in the Internal Medicine Residency Program at RUSH University from 1992 to 1996. Finally, from 1996 to 1999, they attended Vanderbilt University for a fellowship in Gastroenterology.
