Brittany Carpenter's work experience began in 2006 as a Package Handler at FedEx Ground. Brittany then worked as a Student Data Analyst at Cleverley + Associates from 2008 to 2010. Brittany also held Student Intern positions at Mount Carmel Health System and Nationwide Children's Hospital IS Dept in 2010. Brittany joined OhioHealth in 2010 and held various roles, including Charge Analyst, Sr. Cost Analyst, ED Billing Specialist/Coder, and Sr. ED Billing Specialist. Brittany worked at OhioHealth until March 2021. In September 2019, they started working at HCCS - Healthcare Coding & Consulting Services as a Data Analyst/Project Coordinator. Brittany later served as a Consulting and Data Analytics Manager and is currently the Director of Reporting and Data Analytics as of November 2021. Throughout their career, Brittany has obtained certifications as a RHIA, CHDA, and CPC.
Brittany Carpenter RHIA, CHDA, CPC completed their education at The Ohio State University from 2005 to 2010, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Allied Health Professions with a focus on Health Information Management & Systems. Prior to this, they attended Gallia Academy High School until 2005.
In terms of additional certifications, Brittany obtained the Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA) certification from AHIMA in April 2010. Following that, they acquired the Certified Health Data Analyst (CHDA) certification from AHIMA in February 2014. Most recently, in February 2020, they obtained the Certified Professional Coder (CPC) certification from AAPC.
