Rick James

Rick James has a long history of work experience in the IT field. Rick began their career in 2005 as a Customer Service Agent and Technical Support Supervisor at US Support Company. From 2008 to 2017, they worked at Ivan Smith Furniture as an IT Director, Systems Administrator, Network Administrator, and .NET Developer. In 2017, they began working at Software & Services, LLC as a .NET Software Developer/Programmer. In 2021, they joined Healthcare Finance Direct as the Director of Cloud Infrastructure and Security and Senior DevOps Engineer. Before joining Healthcare Finance Direct, they were the Director of Information Technology/DevOps Engineer/Blockchain Engineer at Asteri Networks, where they set up, monitored, and managed AWS infrastructure and DevOps pipeline from the ground up, as well as managed network infrastructure and equipment at the local office.

Rick James has a diverse educational background. Rick obtained an Associate of Applied Science in Information Technology Programmer-Analyst from Bossier Parish Community College between 2011 and 2013. Rick also attended American InterContinental University from 2007 to 2010, where they obtained a BIT in Programming and Network Administration. Rick has a variety of certifications from Cloud Academy, Inc., Microsoft, and CompTIA, including DevOps Foundations, MCPS: Microsoft Certified Professional, MCPD: ASP.NET Developer 3.5, MCPD: Enterprise Application Developer 3.5, MCPD: Windows Developer 3.5, MCTS: .NET Framework 3.5, ADO.NET Applications, MCTS: .NET Framework 3.5, ASP.NET Applications, MCTS: .NET Framework 3.5, Windows Communication Foundation Applications, MCTS: .NET Framework 3.5, Windows Forms Applications, and Network+.
