Suzanne Zubris

Suzanne Zubris has worked in a variety of roles in the Human Resources, Accounting, and Administrative fields since 2001. In 2020, they began working as the Human Resources Manager and Full Charge Bookkeeper for Healthcare Finance Direct. That same year, they also founded Happy Monk Coffee Co., an ethically traded, blended and single origin coffee company with free shipping on orders in the USA over $40 and flat rate options to Canada. From 2017 to 2020, they worked as the Human Resources I Office Manager and Accounting for IFG, where they were responsible for new hires/terminations paperwork, onboarding, employee benefits and health insurance roll out and auditing, maintaining company review and wage schedules, and more. From 2016 to 2017, they worked as the Charge Bookkeeper, HR Support, and Office Administrator for Frontier Mechanical (Plumbing), where they were responsible for human resources and office management support, administering company payroll, contract administration and management, construction paperwork, construction applications, managing W-9s and liability certificates, OCIP insurance management, company lawsuit administration, and more. From 2011 to 2016, they worked as the AR/AP Manager for PLCs PLUS INTERNATIONAL, where they were responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the accounts receivable and accounts payable functions for contracts and materials, supervisor for the AR/AP Tech Team, overseeing the processing of invoices and payments, billing, posting cash receipts, invoice adjustments, and more. Finally, from 2001 to 2011, they worked as the Call Centre & Advertising/Marketing Coordinator for WestJet, where they were the primary internal project lead for WestJet Vacation's marketing strategy and creation of ads, the primary coordinator in a large six week campaign, and actively participated in the creation and development of tactical retail advertising plans.

Suzanne Zubris has an education history that includes a Specialty Credential from SHRM - HR Department of One, obtained in 2020. Suzanne also obtained an HR - Department of One Strategies for Success from SHRM in 2019. In addition, they attended Mount Royal University from 1997 to 2000, studying Outdoor Education. Suzanne also holds two certifications: SHRM - HR Department of One from SHRM, obtained in July 2019, and SHRM Essentials of Human Resources from SHRM, obtained in December 2018.
