Rick Epperson

Rick Epperson is the Chief Information Security Officer for Healthcare Fraud Shield and leads the company’s information security, privacy and business resiliency functions.

Prior to joining Healthcare Fraud Shield, Rick was Director of Business Resiliency and Information Security for Cotiviti where he was responsible for security risk management, business continuity and crisis management governance, security operations and incident response. Rick was the Information Security Officer at iHealth Technologies where he developed and implemented the company’s initial information security and governance program. Rick has taught university courses on Information Security, Project Management and Business Systems Development. Rick received an Executive Master of Business Administration from Georgia State University and is a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP).
