Carle Marie-Memnon

Vice President at Healthcare Leaders of New York

Carle-Marie Memnon is the Assistant Vice President in the Academic Training Department for the HSS Education Institute at Hospital for Special Surgery. She is responsible for the administration, accreditation and oversight of the operations and strategic vision for the Graduate Medical Education programs. She is a board-certified Health Care Executive with over 20 years of experience in the healthcare sector. Her background includes human resources, graduate medical education, budgeting, operations, project, and event planning.

Dr. Memnon is Immediate Past President for the National Association of Health Service Executives (NAHSE), New York Regional Chapter. She is a Past Regent-At-Large for District 1 of the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE), Past Chair of the Healthcare Leaders of New York (HLNY) Diversity Committee and has served on several ACHE committees.

Carle-Marie is member of the Hofstra University School of Health Professions and Human Services Dean's Council and 2020-2022 President of the Hofstra University Master of Health Administration (MHA) Alumni Association. She previously served as Vice President, MHA AA, 2018-2020. Additionally, she is a long-time member on the American Brain Tumor Association (ABTA) Volunteer Planning Committee and has served as a Ronald McDonald House of Connecticut volunteer.

Dr. Memnon received her Bachelor of Arts in Biological Sciences from Fordham University. She holds a Master of Arts in Health Administration and a Master of Business Administration from Hofstra University. She earned a Certificate in Human Resources Studies from Cornell University. She completed her doctorate degree in healthcare leadership and management at the Medical University of South Carolina.
