Edsel Smith

Edsel Smith is an experienced safety and fire service professional serving as Owner and President of Stonewall Safety & Fire Safety LLC since July 2012, providing safety training, accident investigations, and fire code consulting. Smith has been an Adjunct Instructor at WVU FIRE SERVICE EXTENSION since 1990, training firefighters in various areas of fire service and rescue. Additionally, Edsel Smith has held roles such as Business Analyst at Healthcare Management Solutions, Assistant Director of Engineering and Safety Officer at Stonewall Jackson Memorial Hospital, and Assistant State Fire Marshal at the West Virginia State Fire Marshal's Office, where complex fire inspections were conducted. With a Bachelor of Science in Safety Engineering Technology and an Associate of Science in Safety Technology from Fairmont State College, Edsel Smith is also NFPA Certified as a Fire Inspector II and Fire Plans Examiner.
