Ramanan Laxminarayan

Founder and Board Chair at HealthCubed

Ramanan Laxminarayan has a long and varied work experience. Ramanan began their career in 1999 as a Senior Fellow at Resources for the Future. In 2009, they became the Founder and President of One Health Trust. In 2010, they moved to Princeton University as a Senior Research Scholar. In 2016, they founded HealthCube and became its Board Chair. In 2018, they became the Board Chair of the Global Antibiotic R&D Partnership (GARDP).

Ramanan Laxminarayan's education history includes a PhD in Economics from the University of Washington, which they obtained from 1994 to 1999. During this time, they also obtained a Master of Public Health in Epidemiology from the University of Washington, which they completed in 1999. Prior to this, they attended the Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani, where they studied Engineering from 1988 to 1992. Ramanan also attended BITS and Sishya, though the details of their studies at these institutions are unknown.
