Guru Prasad started their career in 2008 as a Test Analyst at Mahathi Software Pvt Ltd. There, they gained experience in Agile methodology, black box testing, database testing, system testing, functional testing, XML testing, and defect tracking using various tools. In 2011, they joined Binary Spectrum as a Software Test Engineer before moving on to HealthEC, LLC in 2012 as a Sr. Lead Analyst.

Guru Prasad holds a Bachelor's degree from Visvesvaraya Technological University. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications, including AZ-900 - Microsoft Azure Fundamentals Training from Udemy in July 2021, SQL for Data Analysis: Beginner MySQL Business Intelligence from Udemy in June 2021, ETL Testing With Informatica PowerCenter from Udemy in May 2021, DevOps Project: CI/CD with Jenkins Ansible Docker Kubernetes from Udemy in April 2021, BCS ISEB ISTQB FOUNDATION LEVEL from BCS/ISEB in July 2014, and Certified Scrum Master (CSM) from the Global Association for Quality Management (GAQM) in July 2014.
