Bobby Sherwood

Bobby Sherwood has a diverse work experience in various industries. Bobby started their career in 2005 as a Project Intern at Bovis Lend Lease, where they gained experience in project management and renovation projects. Bobby then worked as an Assistant Project Manager at the same company from 2006 to 2010.

In 2012, Bobby joined athenahealth as an MBA Intern, where they worked on growth operations and small group sales. Bobby analyzed sales activities, optimized sales processes, and researched industry sales structures. Bobby also identified under-performing marketing campaigns and recommended redirecting funds to other channels.

Bobby continued their journey in athenahealth, taking on roles such as Healthcare Transactions Manager and Sr. Healthcare Transactions Associate - Team Lead. In these positions, they coordinated efforts to launch record sharing services, optimized CCDA payloads, and automated implementation steps. Bobby also led a team focused on improving hospital care transitions, collecting client feedback and implementing new chart features.

In 2013, Bobby joined The Related Group as a Project Manager, where they further honed their project management skills.

Bobby then pursued their MBA at Boston College Carroll School of Management from 2011 to 2013. During this time, they were part of a team that won a Business Plan Competition and developed a business plan for a new battery technology, conducting research and developing the operations and production portions of the plan.

Bobby later joined naviHealth in 2017 as a Manager of Product Management, where they continued to enhance their product management skills.

Their most recent role was at HealthEdge, where they started in 2019 as the Director of Product Management for HealthRules CareManager. Bobby was then promoted to Sr. Director of Product Management for GuidingCare, and currently holds the position of Vice President of Product Development for GuidingCare starting in 2023.

Bobby Sherwood holds a MBA in Leadership & Management from the Boston College Carroll School of Management, which they earned in the years 2011 to 2013. Prior to that, they completed a Master of Science (MS) degree in Civil Engineering at Northeastern University from 2006 to 2009. Bobby also obtained their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Civil Engineering from Columbia Engineering, graduating between 2004 and 2006. Their education began at Providence College, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Physics, Chemistry, and Math from 2001 to 2006.
