Adam Yap

Adam Yap has over 20 years of experience in the tech industry. Adam began their career in 1999 as a co-founder of Neospace Internet Consulting. In 2000, they worked as a freelance writer for Australian Personal Computer Magazine/ACP Magazines. The following year, they took on the role of Analyst at Accenture Singapore, working on the Singapore Telecom Pegasus project. In 2002, they joined CalorieKing as COO and VP Consumer Sales, Project Manager and Technical Operations Manager. During their tenure, they developed new product offerings and income models that led to an average increase in turnover and profit of 60% per annum. Adam also managed the Mobile Products, overseeing software development, marketing and developing income models for CalorieKing Mobile. In 2010, Yap co-founded HealthEngine, where they currently serve as the Executive Director. Adam is responsible for providing leadership for the product management team and helping define the product strategy, vision and principles. Additionally, they were a consultant at Vermillion Border in 2010.

Adam Yap attended Christ Church Grammar School from 1991 to 1995. Adam then attended The University of Western Australia from 1995 to 2001, obtaining a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Commerce with a focus on Corporate Law, Accounting, and Finance. In 2016, they attended Reforge for the Growth Series Summer '16.
