Maaike van der Loon

Maaike van der Loon has over 17 years of professional experience in the legal field. Maaike began their career in 2003 as a Solicitor at DLA Phillips Fox, where they provided advice on civil litigation and insurance related disputes. In 2007, they joined KPMG as an Associate Director in the Advisory practice, where they were responsible for professional practice issues and developing and implementing processes to ensure compliance with KPMG's risk management policies and procedures. In 2011, they moved to Liberty Financial Pty Ltd as Legal Counsel and in 2013, they joined the Pension Protection Fund as an Associate Lawyer. Currently, Maaike is the Head of Legal and Compliance at HealthEngine.

Maaike van der Loon obtained a Bachelor of Laws from The University of Western Australia between 1996 and 2002, specializing in the field of Law.
