Anatoly Chikanov

Anatoly Chikanov has extensive work experience in the field of information security and technology management. Anatoly currently holds the position of VP of Security Engineering and Architecture at HealthEquity, where they lead and develops a team focused on securing data for the company's clients and employees. Prior to this role, Anatoly served as a Contributor at Aphinia and as the Principal Owner of AC - Security Consulting, where they provided guidance on information security and IT strategies to various companies. Anatoly also held the position of Director of Information Security at Enel X, where they oversaw the global information security program and ensured the secure operations of the company's cloud-based platform. Anatoly has also worked at CPP, Inc. as the Enterprise Information Security Architect and Head of Information Security, at Boston Private as an IT Systems Manager, at Borel Private Bank & Trust Company as the Manager of Network Operations, and at HiFX as the North America IT Operations Manager. Anatoly began their career at Wells Fargo as a Credit Manager. Throughout their career, Anatoly has demonstrated expertise in developing security policies, managing compliance efforts, implementing SIEM solutions, conducting penetration testing, and overseeing IT infrastructure and operations.

Anatoly Chikanov earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Management and Marketing from Cal State East Bay- College of Business & Economics between 2002 and 2005. Prior to that, they attended Aragon High School. Anatoly Chikanov also has several certifications including Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) from (ISC)² obtained in March 2015, and Certified Data Privacy Solutions Engineer - CDPSE from ISACA obtained in December 2020. Anatoly also holds additional certifications such as Comptia Security+, Microsoft Certified Professional, and Network+ from Comptia.
